Beat Your Wife, Love God!

UPDATE:  LINK TO SITE. Click on the door if you go to the link originally posted below in my original post.

This website was shared by a Facebook friend and I really love it. It basically says that if you are using real Biblical discipline on your wife, then it’s not abuse because you’re doing “God’s will”.  (I still have to wonder how many of these guys have stoned their wives or children to death in the middle of town, but hey!  Whatever works for them, right?)

The author of the website says that the Christians who practice DD (domestic discipline) should not hide for fear of ridicule, but should proudly proclaim that they are using DD  in their homes according to the instructions they’ve received from the Bible.

I agree that they shouldn’t hide, and should be as open as possible about these situations.  That way, if a good person like myself hears about any of these insane misogynistic assholes abusing their wives or children, I can report them to the proper authorities, and at the very least have their children taken away even if their idiot wives won’t leave.

Keeping the pimp hand strong for Jesus.

Somebody needs to tell them that their religion, no matter how precious it is to them, does not allow them to break the law. And, if they are breaking laws when they are practicing their religion, that should reflect poorly on the practices involved! But, whatever: it’s God command to smack a bitch, and God is better than your stinkin’ mortal laws and guvment!

I suppose the next time the “Little Woman” pises me off, I should take her to church and give her “Some Of That Old Time Religion” ?

Was there content on that site before? ’cause there’s none now. Just a message: “***This website is being “remodeled”. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

But the best thing was the warning:

    Attention:

This site contains themes pertaining to spanking and may be suitable only for adults. Please do not enter if you are under 18 years of age or if spanking offends you.

    I call Poe.

I don’t know … I think it may be Poe as well.

Well I know, due to a wonderful, brainmelting little website called “Fundies Say the Darndest Things” that the sentiment of God-ordained wife-beating is not completely unheard of on the interwebs. Such misogyny is almost as popular as Internet Tough Guy racism.

    Here’s a taste:
“He has the ultimate authority in his household, but this authority is tempered with the knowledge that he will answer to God for his actions and decisions. The final decision rests with him, and therefore, the final responsibility, whatever the outcome, is his to bear. A wise husband will not make a major decision without prayerfully asking God for wisdom, and without seeking his wife’s counsel.

He is to be the head of the home. She is to be the heart of the home.

He is not a dictator. She is not a doormat.

He is not a overbearing Lord of the Estate, seeking to trample over his family. She is not some weak-minded lass, needing to be molly-coddled, or seeking to get straightened around.

He has the responsibility for leading his family and is accountable before God for their well-being and development. He has the authority to spank his wife for disciplinary reasons, but in real CDD marriages, this authority is taken quite seriously and usually happens rarely. Most CDD marriages do use spanking, generally for serious offences, such as the “Four D’s” (Disobedience, Disrespect, Dishonesty, or Dangerous [as in dangerous choices... reckless driving, disobeying doctor's orders, etc]). Some CDD marriages also use non-corporal disciplines, such as writing lines, or the temporary forfeiture of a favourite privilege. Again, every marriage is unique, and CDD is much more than just corporal punishment or spanking.”

Well, at least they’re kind of reasonable about it…

I don’t know, as a recovering cathoholic, I really wonder about the reasoning here – can’t have spanking as a part of sex, but can have a spanking as long as it’s ‘real’ and not part of a ‘role-play.’ Sounds like a pretty elaborate justification. And it doesn’t sound like any fun for the wife… I just know that if my husband ever tried to spank me for reckless driving, I wouldn’t even feel it because I’d be laughing so hard. Then we’d be rethinking the marriage…

If my husband tried to spank me for reckless driving, I’d kick him in his nutsack. :) lol.

I love how religionuts have to try to ‘hide’ their kinkiness by putting it out in the open, as well. Good job there. Stupid shits.

Thanks for the update. Silly me, not thinking to click on the door. Let’s go take a look, shall we…

    *urp*

I just vomited a little in my mouth.

“writing lines, or the temporary forfeiture of a favourite privilege”

I can just imagine the howls of laughter in the CyberLizard home if I tried that shit. Right before the sound of my ass getting kicked out the door.
